Title A name given to the resource UiTM SIGNED MOU WITH KINDAI UNIVERSITY Description An account of the resource <p>UiTM has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kindai University (KU), Japan to strengthen, promote and develop academic, cultural and research co-operation. UiTM was represented by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Emeritus Datuk Ir. Dr. Mohd Azraai Kassim and the Rector of UiTM Perlis Branch, Prof. Dr. Hj. Khudzir Hj. Ismail.</p> <p>The KU counterpart was the President, Dr. Yoshihiko Hosoi and the Vice President, Dr. Hisashi Fujihara. This MoU would be a legal standing to enhance cooperation between UiTM and KU.</p> <p>This alliance was mooted by the Faculty of Plantation and Agrotechnology, UiTM Perlis Branch with an overarching goal of providing opportunities to share respective experiences, networks, technologies and resources on both academic and research engagement between institutions based upon the principles of mutual benefit.</p> <p>It also embarks onto a preliminary written agreement in view of setting a clear roadmap to both parties and which includes a commitment to explore potential for institutional exchanges between staff from each partner institution.
