Title A name given to the resource THE ROLE OF ACIS IS BEYOND RELIGIOUS STUDIES PERANAN ACIS MERENTASI PENGAJIAN AGAMA Description An account of the resource Dr. Hajar Haji Opir, Deputy Dean of Student Affairs, opened my walkabout visit to the Academy of Contemporary Islamic Studies-(ACIS) today, 20 Oct. 2021, with an Al-Quran recitation from Surah Al-Saff (The Ranks) verses 1-6. ACIS has its own home grown programmes ranging from Pre Diploma to Ph.D. levels, in addition to the generic courses offered to all students through out the whole system. ACIS has 1,752 students registered in its academy such as Muamalat, Halal Industry Management, and Contemporary Islamic Studies. I urged the staff of ACIS to engage with industries on gathering inputs of the A.D.A.B (Analysis-Design-Assess-Build in Belief) model in designing delivery and learning experience. Adding to that contributing to writing, research and publication activities will increase UiTM’s reputation especially through the World University Rankings by Subject. Therefore, please work closely with PTAR (UiTM Library) to strategise and act on this important agenda. I am concerned about the safety and conduciveness of facilities, be they at colleges, departments, or branch campuses. Thus, please send your report to my office, and Insyaallah we would request that the Office of Facilities Management take immediate action. Simultaneously, all PTJs should identify ways to collaborate closely with the Endowment Office, Waqf, Alumni, or Industry partnerships. On the other hand, all servicing lecturers at APB and ACIS would be allowed to report their duties as servicing lecturers through the MyATP. Please be assured that fast action is being taken. Sementara itu, warga ACIS juga diminta menyumbang dalam aktiviti penulisan, penyelidikan dan penerbitan kerana ia akan meningkatkan reputasi UiTM terutamanya dalam World University Rankings by Subject. Oleh itu, sila bekerjasama dengan PTAR (Perpustakaan UiTM) untuk menyusun strategi dan melaksanakan agenda penting ini. Saya amat mementingkan keselamatan dan keselesaan kemudahan di kampus, sama ada di kolej, jabatan, ataupun kampus cawangan. Oleh itu, hantarkan laporan anda ke pejabat saya, dan saya meminta agar Pejabat Pengurusan Fasiliti untuk mengambil tindakan segera. Pada masa yang sama, semua PTJ harus mengenal pasti cara untuk berkolaborasi rapat dengan pihak Wakaf, Alumni, Endowmen atau rakan industri. Dalam pada itu, semua pensyarah yang berkhidmat di APB dan ACIS dibenarkan melaporkan tugas mereka sebagai pensyarah yang memberi perkhidmatan kursus MPU melalui MyATP.
