With the theme of “Empowerment of Academia, Enculturation of Digitalisation”, the Academia Day is intended to recognize the roles of educators. This special day honours educators at public and private higher education institutions, polytechnics, community colleges, teachers training institutes, matriculation colleges, as well as technical and vocational training institutes.

Bertemakan “Akademia Diperkasa, Digitalisasi Dibudaya”, Hari Akademia bertujuan memberi penghargaan ke atas peranan semua pendidik. Hari istimewa ini memberi penghormatan kepada para pendidik di institusi pengajian tinggi awam dan swasta, politeknik, kolej komuniti, institut latihan perguruan, kolej matrikulasi, dan juga institusi latihan teknikal dan vokasional.
