UiTM achieves outstanding milestone in QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025.

12 March 2025 – UiTM continues to strengthen its global standing as 21 subjects across four broad disciplines are listed in the QS World University Rankings (WUR) by Subject 2025, announced today. This achievement surpasses the UiTM2025 Strategic Plan target of 20 subjects, reaffirming the university’s commitment to academic excellence.

This year, 1,747 institutions have been ranked across 55 subjects in five broad areas. A remarkable milestone includes the first-ever ranking of English Language and Literature (251-300 band) and Mathematics (501-600 band) in UiTM’s history.

Additionally, Materials Science has re-entered the rankings (401-550 band) after a five-year gap. Moreover, four subjects have shown improvement: Education, Agriculture and Forestry, Chemistry, and Physics and Astronomy.
