MYIPO TO STRENGTHEN COOPERATION WITH UiTM

6 May 2019 – Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO) and Universiti Tekmologi Mara (UiTM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen their strategic cooperation in the field of Technology and Innovation Support Centers (TISCs).

The signing marking UiTM as the 15th member of TISC Host Institution. TISCs serve as a basis for communication and cooperation between the community, host institutions and MyIPO.

Director General of MyIPO, Dato’ Mohd Roslan Mahayudin said the MoU marks a significant milestone in commercializing innovation produced by the university to reach the masses and achieve its intended societal benefit.

Dato’ Mohd Roslan represented MyIPO at the signing ceremony, which was held at Canseleri UiTM, Shah Alam, while Vice Chancellor of the UiTM, Profesor Emeritus Ir. Dr. Mohd. Azraai Kassim represented UiTM at the ceremony.
