UiTM Repository Is Now Ranked #83 Among The World Repository Institutions

Description

The University Institutional Repository (IR) is an initiative developed by the UiTM Tun Abdul Razak Library (PTAR) to preserve, store, and disseminate university intellectual property materials, particularly academic content. The collection is categorised as University Intellectual Property uploaded to IR and available at https://ir.uitm.edu.my.
Universiti Teknologi MARA has risen from 101st to 83rd in the world and 1st in Malaysia in the latest 14th edition of the Web Ranking of Repositories (Transparent Ranking: Institutional Repositories by Google Scholar). Congratulations! Keluarga UiTM.
The Web Ranking of Repositories is an initiative developed by the Cybermetrics Lab, a research group of the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), the largest public research organisation in Spain. The CSIC is responsible for managing and publishing reports for two (2) types of rankings, namely the Web Ranking of Universities and the Web Ranking of Repositories, which lists 3,903 institutional repositories from around the world.
This ranking uses web indicators to measure the global visibility and impact of scientific repositories. The website in question must reach a wider potential audience by providing access to scientific knowledge to researchers and institutions in developing countries, as well as to third parties (economic, industrial, political or cultural stakeholders) in the community involved.
Therefore, the participation and contribution of Keluarga UiTM is important to increase the visibility of UiTM publications. Academics and researchers need to collaborate in this regard by ensuring the delivery of quality materials through participating departments such as the UiTM Tun Abdul Razak Library (PTAR).

REPOSITORI UiTM KINI DIKEDUDUKAN #83 DALAM KALANGAN INSTITUSI REPOSITORI DUNIA.
