Aniq Kasdan & Nur Ain Nabilah Tarmizi's Success Should Be Inspiration To All
Title
Description
I would like to highlight the achievement of our weightlifter Mohamad Aniq Kasdan, who won the country's first gold medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham recently. Aniq, who was born on 16 June 2002, is one of the country's youngest athletes to compete in the 2022 Commonwealth Games. He is a diploma student in Sports Management under the Off-Campus Study Programme in collaboration with the Johor State Sports Council. Aniq won the 55 kg weightlifting championship with a total weight of 249 kg, breaking the Commonwealth Games record of 142 kg. Previously, Aniq won a silver medal at the 2021 World Weightlifting Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and a bronze medal at the 2021 SEA Games in Hanoi, Vietnam. Meanwhile, the success of Nur Ain Nabilah Tarmizi, 24, a student from the Faculty of Sports Science and Recreation who won the silver medal (Lawn Bowls Women's Triples event) at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, should also serve as an example. Ain Nabilah has already won the gold medal in lawn bowls twice at the Southeast Asian Games, in 2017 and 2019. Their tenacity and sportsmanship should be an inspiration to everyone. They balance their professional commitment with sport without neglecting education. My advice is that students need to find a balance between the different roles they play as students, as this is essential for optimal academic functioning to produce "Budiman" graduates.~RT KEJAYAAN ANIQ KASDAN & NUR AIN NABILAH TARMIZI HARUS DIJADIKAN INSPIRASI SEMUA Saya ingin mengimbas semula kejayaan atlet angkat berat, Mohamad Aniq Kasdan yang menghadiahkan emas pertama untuk negara pada temasya Sukan Komanwel 2022 di National Exhibition Centre (NEC), Birmingham. ~RT
