"THIS IS OUR VOICE" - The Prime Minister Of Malaysia Officiates The Idea Bina Negara In UiTM

Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) expresses gratitude to Malaysia's Prime Minister YAB Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob for entrusting UiTM to develop the Idea Bina Negara -IBN (Ideas for Nation Building) app. This was done by a special team under the VCOSP (Vice Chancellor's Special Project) in collaboration with the Community Communications Department (J-KOM) of the Prime Minister's Office.

Today (04 October 2022) , UiTM was honoured to host the launch of IBN 2022, which was also attended by YB Datuk Seri Dr Noraini Ahmad, Minister of Higher Education, YB Senator Dato' Dr Ahmad Masrizal Muhammad, Deputy Minister of Higher Education, and government officials as well as 4,000 youths. The event was also attended virtually by 50,000 students from various higher education institutions.

So far, the platform has received over 12,000 suggestions from youths across the country, with 18 to 21 year olds contributing the most ideas. Under the slogan "This is Our Voice", IBN has become a fertile ground for ideas and opinions on political, economic, social, technological, environmental, and legal issues.

Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Ministry of Higher Education for its unwavering support to UiTM in all activities and initiatives to empower the nation through higher education. ~RT

“INI SUARA KITA” - IDEA BINA NEGARA DIRASMIKAN OLEH PERDANA MENTERI MALAYSIA DI UiTM

Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) mengucapkan terima kasih kepada YAB Perdana Menteri Malaysia, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob atas kepercayaan yang diberikan kepada UiTM untuk membangunkan aplikasi Idea Bina Negara (IBN) menerusi pasukan khas di bawah VCOSP (Projek Khas Naib Canselor) dengan kerjasama Jabatan Komunikasi Komuniti (J-KOM), Jabatan Perdana Menteri.

Pada hari ini, (04 Oktober 2022) UiTM sekali lagi diberi kepercayaan menjadi tuan rumah sempena perasmian IBN 2022 yang turut dihadiri oleh YB Datuk Seri Dr Noraini Ahmad, Menteri Pengajian Tinggi, YB Senator Dato’ Dr Ahmad Masrizal Muhammad, Timbalan Menteri Pengajian Tinggi dan pegawai-pegawai kerajaan serta 4,000 belia. Di samping itu 50,000 orang mahasiswa Institut Pengajian Tinggi juga hadir secara maya.

Setakat ini, platform tersebut telah menerima lebih 12,000 pandangan daripada anak muda seluruh negara dengan penyumbang terbesar idea dalam kalangan belia berumur 18 hingga 21 tahun. Dengan cogan kata “Ini Suara Kita”, IBN menjadi medan percambahan idea dan cadangan yang merangkumi politik, ekonomi, sosial, teknologi, persekitaran dan undang-undang.

Akhir sekali, saya juga ingin mengambil kesempatan ini mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi yang sentiasa memberi sokongan terhadap UiTM dalam segala aktiviti dan inisiatif yang diusahakan dalam memperkasa negara melalui pendidikan tinggi. ~RT
