Welcoming Ms. Christina Chase of MIT : Fostering Global Partnerships in Entrepreneurship

This morning, we had the honor and pleasure of welcoming and receiving Ms. Christina Chase, Managing Director & Co-founder of the MIT Sports Lab.

She started her first company at the age of 18 and was named one of the 25 Most Influential Women in the Boston Tech Community (2013).

She is currently in Malaysia to share her experience and expertise on
“Engineering Entrepreneurship: Transforming Ideas into Impact” — as part of our international engagement initiative.

Her visit marks an important step in fostering potential and rekindling collaboration between Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

We had a meaningful conversation on UiTM’s commitment to fostering, teaching, and training in entrepreneurship — a field we believe is critical to national and global progress.

This engagement reflects UiTM’s aspiration to bring world-class expertise to our campus and to build meaningful international partnerships.
