UiTM Is The Employer's Preferred University, With A Marketability Percentage Of Up To 90%

On December 1, 2022, at the 11th session, of the UiTM 95th Convocation Ceremony, I am pleased to award degrees to 1,130 graduates of the UiTM Perak Branch from the College of Computing, Informatics, & Media, the Faculty of Accountancy, the Faculty of Plantation & Agrotechnology, and the Faculty of Administrative Science & Policy Studies.

Overall, the Graduate on Time (G.o.T) percentage of this session's graduation is satisfactory; the Administrative Science and Policy Studies Programme (74.3%), Plantation & Agrotechnology Programme (81.9%), Computer Science & Mathematics Programme (93.4%), and Accounting Programme (95.6%).

In addition, the Accounting Programme has 91.5% of marketability rate, the Administrative Science & Policy Studies Programme with 82.9%, the Plantation & Agrotechnology Programme with 79.4%, and the Computer Science & Mathematics Programme with 86%.

For your information, during the pandemic, the graduates in this session completed the last three semesters of the Online Distance Learning (ODL) course. Alhamdulilah, they were able to overcome the challenges through the support and guidance provided by the university.

We know that globally competent and marketable graduates are in great demand in today's competitive job market. As a result, the institution is always taking the initiative to engage with many industrial sectors, including Microsoft (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., Fusionex Group, MIMOS Berhad, Telekom Malaysia Berhad, Black Rock Singapore, Petra Energy, and more. In addition, students are exposed to the career world before graduation through the UiTM Career Expo (CaiREx). The event has now been improved by collaborating with Talentbank Group - an enabler of the employability ecosystem that links industry and talent. We are honoured to have been named the Employers' Preferred University in their most recent rating surveys.

PERATUSAN KEBOLEHPASARAN HINGGA KE 90%, UiTM ADALAH UNIVERSITI PILIHAN MAJIKAN.

Pada 1 Disember 2022, sidang ke-11, Istiadat Konvokesyen ke-95 UiTM, saya dengan sukacitanya menganugerahkan ijazah kepada 1,130 graduan UiTM Cawangan Perak, dari Kolej Pengajian Pengkomputeran, Informatik & Media, Fakulti Perakaunan, Fakulti Perladangan & Agroteknologi, serta Fakulti Sains Pentadbiran & Pengajian Polisi.

Secara keseluruhannya, peratusan Graduate on Time (G.o.T) bagi pengijazahan sesi ini adalah baik. Program Sains Pentadbiran dan Pengajian Polisi, (74.3%), Program Perladangan & Agroteknologi, (81.9%), Program Sains Komputer & Matematik, (93.4%) dan Program Perakaunan )95.6%).

Manakala peratusan kebolehpasaran untuk Program Sains Pentadbiran & Pengajian Polisi adalah 82.9%, Program Perladangan & Agroteknologi, 79.4%, Program Sains Komputer & Matematik, 86%, dan akhir sekali Program

Perakaunan, 91.5%.

Sebagai makluman, pada graduan yang terlibat dalam sidang ini telah menamatkan tiga semester terakhir kursus Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh Dalam Talian (ODL) semasa pandemik. Alhamdulilah, mereka dapat mengatasi cabaran tersebut, melalui sokongan dan bimbingan yang diberikan oleh universiti.

Kami peka bahawa graduan yang kompeten dan berdaya saing di peringkat global mendapat permintaan yang tinggi dalam pasaran kerja yang kompetitif hari ini. Oleh demikian, UiTM sentiasa mengambil inisiatif untuk berkolaborasi dengan pelbagai sektor industri, termasuk Microsoft (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., Fusionex Group, MIMOS Berhad, Telekom Malaysia Berhad, Black Rock Singapore, Petra Energy, dan banyak lagi. Sementalahan itu, pelajar juga didedahkan dengan dunia kerjaya sebelum tamat pengajian melalui Ekspo Kerjaya UiTM (CaiREx). Acara tersebut kini telah ditambah baik menerusi kerjasama dengan Kumpulan Talentbank –penggerak ekosistem pekerjaan yang menghubungkan industri dan bakat. Baru-baru ini, UiTM turut berbesar hati atas pengiktirafan sebagai Universiti Pilihan Majikan dalam tinjauan penarafan yang dijalankan oleh Kumpulan tersebut.
